Mission and Vision

SOREC

Since its creation in 2003, SOREC has been dedicated to promoting and developing the equine sector in Morocco, while actively contributing to the prosperity of local communities. This mission, inspired by our Purpose, is based on a clear vision and a well-defined strategy, focused on innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity.

Over the years, SOREC has invested in modern infrastructure, supported quality training programs, and implemented initiatives to improve the quality of life for breeders and horse enthusiasts. Its efforts have created jobs and revitalized rural areas.

Allocation of equestrian activities to SOREC

Implementation of the equine sector strategy and transfer of activities from the national stud farms

Implementation of Open Days at the national stud farms as well as an awareness caravan

Creation of the SOREC Academy and inauguration of the Academy of Equestrian Arts

Inauguration of the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park in El Jadida and organization of the first International Thoroughbred Racing Meeting.

By aligning its principles of action with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, SOREC aims to transform the equine sector into a sector of excellence, capable of sustainably promoting human well-being and the socio-economic development of Moroccan territories.

Our business model

SOREC’s economic model allows for the maintenance and development of an entire ecosystem: financial resources are redistributed fairly and transparently. They are strategically reinvested to finance activities that directly contribute to the social and economic development of rural areas, stimulate the local economy, and create opportunities aimed at prosperity and improving the living standards of men and women in these regions.
