The Société Royale d’Encouragement du Cheval (SOREC) was recently welcomed at the AFASEC academy in Gouvieux as part of a visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two institutions.

A long-standing international partner of AFASEC for more than ten years, SOREC plays a key role in promoting and developing the equine sector in Morocco, particularly in the field of horse racing.

The visit provided an opportunity to revive and deepen Franco-Moroccan collaboration in the training of racing professionals. Discussions focused on several areas of joint work, including the sharing of pedagogical practices, the training of trainers, and the development of “races-espoirs” programs designed to support emerging talent.

Through this collaboration, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to knowledge exchange and to the development of a new generation of professionals dedicated to the future of horse racing.
