Barb and Arab Barb Horse Recreation Competitions

As part of the joint strategy of SOREC and AMCBAB, performance competitions have been designed to showcase the abilities of Barb and Arab-Barb horses and support the selection of Barb and Arab-Barb horses in various sporting disciplines suited to their morphology, temperament and cultural heritage.

These competitions, which are part of the actions defined in the programme contract signed between SOREC and AMCBAB, aim to encourage breeders and amateur riders to participate in leisure and continuing education events in a structured, safe and progressive environment. They are part of a commitment to the sustainable development of the sector, while respecting animal welfare standards, the principles of fair play and the spirit of equestrian tourism in accordance with the guidelines of the FITE (International Federation of Equestrian Tourism).
